The Grand Hotel Djibloho hosts the Elective Quadrennial General Assembly of the National Athletics Federation.

In an environment of excellence and sophistication, the Grand Hotel Djibloho was the setting for the Elective Quadrennial General Assembly of the National Athletics Federation, where the election of the new Executive Board for the period 2025-2028 took place. Thanks to its modern facilities, its highly trained technical team and its privileged location, the hotel provided the ideal space to host this momentous meeting, where the course of national athletics for the next four years was defined.
During the Assembly, delegates from the country's 19 district associations met in one of the hotel's meeting rooms, designed to offer comfort and cutting-edge technology. The assembly culminated with the re-election of Manuel Sabino Asumu Cawan as president of the National Athletics Federation for the period 2025-2028.
The ceremony was attended by important authorities, including the President of the Olympic Committee of Equatorial Guinea Alejandro Martin Owono Evuna, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Sport Patricio Bakale Mba, the Minister Delegate of Youth and Sport, the Governor of the province of Djibloho and the provincial commissioner of Djibloho, who endorsed the process and reaffirmed their commitment to the growth of athletics in the country.
In recognition of the efforts to promote athletics in the region, a certificate of appreciation was presented for the creation and launch of the District Athletics Association in the province of Djibloho. Also, in recognition of its contribution to the organization and success of the Assembly, the National Athletics Federation awarded the Grand Hotel Djibloho a certificate of appreciation, highlighting its role as a strategic ally in the promotion of sport and the development of large-scale events in Equatorial Guinea.
With the continuity of Manuel Sabino Asumu Cawan at the head of the Federation, a new stage of work begins to strengthen athletics in the country. Thanks to the collaboration of institutions and allies such as the Grand Hotel Djibloho, the commitment to the growth of this discipline and the projection of Equatorial Guinean sports talent at a national and international level is reinforced.
