ATTA® Membership
Founded in 1993, the African Travel and Tourism Association (ATTA®) is the pan-Africa travel industry membership association, that has powered worldwide tourism to Africa for nearly thirty years. ATTA® is widely regarded as the trusted authority on tourism to Africa and its members receive unrivalled benefits via its digital and event platforms.

Our financial year runs from 1st October to 30th September. Annual fee is charged pro-rata, calculated on the number of remaining months in the financial year.

Buyers (Outbound Tour Operators, Travel Agents & Retailers) - Band A

African Tourism Community Projects and Charities - Band D
ATTA® for Action, is a sustainable tourism membership project that aims to foster a conscious and united community within the travel and tourism industry across Africa. It offers a new accessible ATTA® membership category that empowers tourism community projects with market access to, and exposure within the tourism industry, and wider ATTA® global membership. ATTA® for Action has opened the door to partnerships in eight types of sustainable tourism initiatives, that align directly with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and relevant to Africa (Hosts and Heritage; Conserving Africa’s Wildlife; Protecting the Planet and Climate Change; Food, Water, Minimizing Waste and Recycling; Health, Well Being & economic Development; Preservation of Africa’s Seas and Coastlines; Reduce Inequality; Education and Development).

PR, Representation and Marketing Services - Band F
Tier 1: Brand Representative
For companies that strictly represent third-party tourism products.
- Ideal for: Small/boutique companies that provide representation or PR services to clients that are ATTA® members.
- Annual Fee: £150 per annum
- New member (one-off) joining fee: £50
- Benefits:
- Visibility in ATTA®’s Membership Directory as a Representation/PR company
- Marketing and networking access in your own brand name
- Ability to attend trade shows under your client’s ATTA® member brand
Tier 2: Multi-Service Representation Companies
For companies that represent clients and provide other integrated marketing services.
- Ideal for: Companies that represent others and provide other integrated full marketing services.
- Annual fee: £515 per annum
- New member (one-off) joining fee: £300
- Benefits: All Tier 1 benefits plus
- Full membership benefits to your brand/agency (your clients do not receive ATTA® benefits through your membership)
- Flexibility to participate at trade shows either under your own brand or your client’s brand.
- Greater exposure of your agency/brand name through PR, events, and ATTA® promotional channels (e.g., newsletters, webinars, media network).
