RETURN Africa is thrilled to announce the launch of a new aircraft service providing direct flights to the remote and pristine Pafuri region of northern Kruger National Park. Effective Monday, May 20, 2024, RETURN Africa will operate a 6-seater Piper Navajo PA-31 aircraft in partnership with Tzaneen Charter Flights.

The aircraft will be hangared either at Hoedspruit Civil Airfield or the Pafuri Airstrip near RETURN Africa’s Pafuri Camp. It will offer arrivals and departures to both Hoedspruit Eastgate and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, providing easy access to the Makuleke Contractual Park and RETURN Africa's camps in the Pafuri Collection.

"We are excited to offer this convenient flight option directly to Pafuri," said Harald van Lennep, Chief Operating Officer at RETURN Africa. "This access route will allow us to showcase this unique and undiscovered part of the country, which we are proud to operate in partnership with the Makuleke community."

Guests can book flights through RETURN Africa's central reservations office at [email protected]. The Pafuri Collection includes the 19-tented Pafuri Camp, two Pafuri Walking Safaris camps (Nkula and the recently refurbished Hutwini Camp), and the exclusive-use Baobab Hill House.

"The challenge of accessing this remote and exceptional region of Northern Kruger has been resolved with our new aircraft service," added van Lennep. "We are focused on delivering a simple, safe and friendly service for our fly-in guests who will feel the warmth of Pafuri hospitality from the moment they arrive at the airport. Our brand invites guests to return again and again, now with the convenience of direct flights so they can spend more time experiencing the magic of Pafuri."
