Royal Air Maroc Restores French Routes and Expands International Network
Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will resume four key routes between Marrakech and French cities this October as part of a wider international expansion. The airline is reinstating twice-weekly flights to Bordeaux (from 12 October), Lyon (10 October), Nantes (11 October), and Toulouse (10 October), all operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft. France remains Morocco’s leading source market, accounting for 27.5% of international arrivals last year. RAM is also increasing frequencies on existing Marrakech–Marseille and Marrakech–Paris Charles de Gaulle routes, the latter doubling to daily flights during the 2025–2026 holiday season.
In addition to the restored French links, RAM will launch four new international routes from Casablanca: Zurich and Ndjamena from 17 September, Sal Island on 18 September, and Munich from 20 October—each with twice-weekly services. To support this growth, RAM is strengthening its medium-haul fleet with five newly acquired Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, bringing the airline’s total in this type to seven, alongside its existing fleet of 28 Boeing 737-800s. The move underlines RAM’s continuing investment in regional connectivity and fleet modernisation.
