The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) is launching ambitious roadshows to expand its presence in the United States and China, two of the world's largest travel markets.

During the World Travel Exhibition in Miami 2024 from 21-23 October, NTB will host a “Networking with Namibia” reception, bringing together US travel buyers, media and PR professionals. The event, featuring seven Namibian trade partners, aims to showcase the country's biodiversity, adventure offerings, and cultural experiences.

Following this, NTB will embark on a comprehensive roadshow in China, targeting Beijing, Chengdu, and Shanghai. With 11 Namibian travel trade partners participating, the initiative seeks to tap into China's burgeoning outbound tourism market, projected to reach 130 million travellers in 2024.

These strategic engagements highlight NTB's proactive approach to expanding Namibia's global tourism presence, with a particular focus on empowering local businesses and SMEs through international exposure.

The roadshows are expected to boost international arrivals and tourism revenue, solidifying Namibia's position in the global travel industry.
