KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced an expansion of its services to Cape Town as part of its winter schedule, running from 27 October to 30 March 2025. The enhanced schedule aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers, offering connections to 220 destinations worldwide.

From 17 December until the end of the winter season, KLM will increase its capacity to Cape Town with two additional weekly flights on Tuesdays and Sundays. These will complement the existing daily service (Flight KL597/598) arriving at 21:30 and departing at 23:20.

The new service, Flight KL595/596, will arrive in Cape Town at 06:10 and depart at 08:05 on Mondays and Wednesdays, also starting from 17 December.

KLM's winter schedule also includes expanded services to other African destinations. The airline will operate daily flights to Nairobi and Accra, as well as daily services to Dar es Salaam, combined with flights to Kilimanjaro (five times weekly) and Zanzibar (twice weekly). Additionally, Kigali in Rwanda and Entebbe in Uganda will be served five times a week.
