"Grand Hotel Djibloho: meeting place for the Joint Commission on the delimitation of the border between Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon"

The Grand Hotel Djibloho was the venue for the recent three-day meeting of the Joint Ad Hoc Commission on the delimitation of borders between Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon last month. This meeting, of great importance for bilateral cooperation, brought together a Cameroonian delegation headed by the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Nji Atanga, together with representatives of the Equatorial Guinean government.

The working sessions took place at the hotel, offering a conducive environment for the discussion of key issues regarding maritime and land borders. At the opening, the Minister of State for the Interior and Local Administration of Equatorial Guinea, Faustino Ndong Esono Eyang, welcomed the Cameroonian delegation, stressing the importance of the process to strengthen ties between the two countries.

The discussions focused on the guidelines of the Heads of State of Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon, as well as the recommendations of the African Union for the delimitation and demarcation of borders until 2035. This meeting reinforces the commitment of both countries to dialogue and the peaceful resolution of border challenges.
