Zambia's national airline, Zambia Airways, is spreading its wings to East Africa with the launch of a new regional service connecting Lusaka to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and Nairobi in Kenya.

From 27 June 2024, the carrier will operate three return flights per week on the route departing from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka. The flights, scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, will make stops in both Dar es Salaam's Julius Nyerere International Airport and Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

The Tuesday and Thursday services will follow the routing of Lusaka to Dar es Salaam, then Nairobi before returning to Lusaka. On Saturdays, the flights will travel from Lusaka to Nairobi first, followed by Dar es Salaam and back to the Zambian capital.

This new East African connection allows Zambia Airways to further expand its regional network across the continent. It opens up new travel options for passengers moving between the three cities, whether for business or leisure purposes.

The strategic route extension strengthens Zambia Airways' reach into the East African travel market as the airline aims to enhance its connectivity and presence across the region.
