Morocco Unveils New Airport Identity as Part of Vision 2030 Strategy
Morocco’s National Airports Office (ONDA) has revealed a new visual identity for its airports, rebranding under the name “Airports of Morocco” as part of its Airports 2030 strategy. The updated branding, launched on 28 July, features symbolic references to Moroccan heritage and global connectivity, aligning with the country’s long-term tourism and infrastructure ambitions tied to major upcoming events such as the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and the FIFA 2030 World Cup.
The refreshed identity supports ONDA’s wider strategic plan to transform Moroccan airports into modern, efficient hubs. Major expansion works are planned at key gateways including Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport, whose capacity will rise from 14 million to 35 million passengers by 2029. Upgrades are also scheduled for Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier and Fez to meet projected increases in air travel demand, enhancing Morocco’s position as a key aviation and tourism hub between Africa, Europe, and beyond.
