Ethio-China Tourism Promotion Forum Held in Beijing
The Ethio-China Tourism Promotion Forum took place in the Embassy of Ethiopia in Beijing, today with the purpose of promoting Ethiopia as a tourist destination and to attract more Chinese tourists to the country.
Ethiopian Ambassador to China, Tefera Derbew gave a compelling opening speech on the opportunities and potential in the Ethiopian tourism industry, highlighting the country's diverse culture, breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife, as well as its unique history and heritage.
He exhorted Chinese travel agencies to get their clients to visit Ethiopia frequently.
The forum has attracted more than 274 participants from 214 tourism associations and tour operators, according to Embassy of Ethiopia in Beijing.
