ATTA® Shines at Africa's Travel Indaba: Record-Breaking Participation and Remarkable Engagement

The team is back in London after an incredible time at Africa's Travel Indaba in Durban. We couldn't be prouder of ATTA®'s presence and impact at this premier African tourism show.

In our 26th consecutive year participating, ATTA® made its biggest showing yet with a record-breaking 69 exhibitor desks and numerous special areas. This was a powerful testament to our 30-year commitment to connecting African suppliers with global buyers and driving growth across the continent's tourism industry.

The ATTA® pavilion was a hub of activity, fostering significant business opportunities and connections. We were thrilled to host prominent exhibitors like Lemala Camps and Lodges, More Family Collection, EcoTraining and &Beyond, as well as fantastic partners like Painted Wolf Wines, Under the Influence, Bean There Coffee, and Travel Africa Magazine.

With over 165 badges collected at our stand, the enthusiasm and engagement from buyers and stakeholders was palpable. As Chris Mears, CEO of Experience Africa Events, remarked, "We've come a long way since that first Indaba in 1998 with just one ATTA® exhibitor. Our growth mirrors the flourishing of Indaba itself and the entire African tourism sector."

Sarah Leah Njanji from the Malawi Consulate General raved about the "massive networking and business opportunities" created through our Indaba Networking Event partnership. Success stories like these energise us as we look ahead.

The Journey Continues: London and Nairobi 

The Indaba may be over, but our drive to promote African tourism globally hasn't slowed down one bit. We're already gearing up for two major upcoming events:

• Experience Africa 2024 (1-3 July, London)

Our flagship B2B show moves to the fantastic new 155 Bishopsgate venue, connecting Africa's top suppliers with active UK and European buyers. With up to 42 pre-scheduled appointments, networking, and social events, it's truly #ThePlaceToConnect.

• Essence of Africa (2-4 December, Nairobi)

Co-hosted with On Show Solutions, this meetings-driven event offers curated buyer and supplier appointments to forge meaningful industry connections and sustainable growth.
