The Zambian Government announced today that all point of entry travel restrictions relating to COVID have been lifted with immediate effect.

New 1-hour PCR testing facilities have been set up at Lusaka Airport simplifying the process of being tested before your journey home, if indeed that is still necessary.

From the 1st of January 2022 Zambia has reduced the cost of tourist visas by 50%. The new costs are $25 for a single entry visa and $40 for a double entry.

Zambian authorities last week issued revised guidelines for entry requirements and protocols for travellers arriving in Zambia. We have highlighted what happened in the meeting below:

We are happy to announce that remote COVID testing is now available in Zambia! All logistics will be taken care of and hard-copy results along with the Ministry of Health authorization that is required to leave Zambia, will be hand-delivered to your clients in time for their international departure.

With an increasing need to obtain negative COVID tests in order to travel from country to country, we have responded to many requests and answered some of your questions relating to travel to Zambia now, and in the months to come.

To mark the 10 years that ZGH have been serving the travel industry they have hosted another Big Zambian Fam Trip. 35 agents from around the world have been visiting the camps of the Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa in recent weeks. Everyone came together to meet with camp owners and operators at the Zambian Ground Handlers’ offices last week for a day that was full of opportunities to mingle and to learn more about tourism in Zambia.

There are various set trips through the South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi with the opportunity to meet all the Zambian camp owners and operators at a function on the 14th of October.
