Our heart is still in Sudan with our colleagues
Our heart is still in Sudan with our colleagues and we are doing what we can to help the Sudanese people. We have two projects through our small NGO Friends of Sudan
Since 2012 ITC SUDAN supported this NGO to build schools in remote areas, most of our travellers, over the years, visited the Tarabil School near the pyramids of Meroe of Sudan. Since the war erupted in Khartoum, we started new crucial campaigns to raise vital funds for the following projects:
- Al Nou Hospital "Healing Hearts" - in Omdurman is one of the very few hospitals still able to work and give vital help to the sick people and the ones injured by the bombs.
- Kosti Shelter Organization "Sudan Solidarity"– a volunteer association that provides food to the people who fled from Khartoum and moved south to Kosti with no home, family or place to stay. They also operate educational projects for thousands of children. The school year has not started in Sudan!
