The Sabi Sabi Collection is set to open Sandringham Private Game Reserve in August 2026, marking the completion of a five-year restoration project that has transformed a former hunting reserve into a conservation-focused ecotourism destination. Situated along the Timbavati River and bordering the Timbavati and Thornybush game reserves, the property will launch with two six-suite safari camps - N'weti Camp and Shisaka Camp - alongside Sandringham House, a four-bedroom exclusive-use villa designed for multi-generational travel groups.

The reserve has been developed with a strong focus on conservation, community development and skills training, including a partnership with the Tracker Training Academy to train young people from surrounding communities as wildlife trackers. Managing Director Rod Wyndham described Sandringham as "probably the last piece of great African bushveld - part of the Greater Kruger - that one could get hold of," noting that significant investment has gone into wildlife rehabilitation and habitat restoration over the past five years. The reserve is expected to offer game drives, walking safaris, birdwatching and access to eight major drainage lines, with Wyndham asserting that the safari experience will be comparable to that of the renowned Sabi Sands.
