Preferred expands in Egypt with hotel and five Nile cruises
Preferred Hotels & Resorts has expanded its MENA footprint through a partnership with Egypt’s Wings Encora Collection, adding six new members – one hotel and five Nile cruise experiences – to its Lifestyle Collection. The move, announced on 17 December 2025, marks the brand’s debut in Egypt’s luxury Nile cruise segment and strengthens its presence in a key growth market for culture‑led and family‑oriented travel.
The additions include Coral Sea Holiday Resort in Sharm El Sheikh and five cruises: Mazaj MS Tamr and Mazaj MS Tulip, plus the boutique dahabiyas Mazaj Sia, Mazaj Seba and Mazaj Meroot operating between Luxor and Aswan. Preferred says the partnership broadens its Egypt portfolio alongside members such as Serry Beach Resort and Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo, aligning with sustained demand for Red Sea stays and experiential river itineraries among international travellers.
