Partnership to improve energy efficiency at Egypt resorts renewed
Mantrac, Caterpillar’s exclusive dealer in Egypt, has renewed its strategic partnership with Pickalbatros Hotels & Resorts for a second year to strengthen power reliability and energy efficiency across the group’s properties, Invest-Gate reported on 25 November. The 2025 agreement covers preventive maintenance, overhaul services and repair programmes for CAT generators to support uninterrupted resort operations and sustainability goals.
Under the deal, Mantrac will run a fully integrated maintenance programme for 93 generators, upgrade a further 14 units and install remote monitoring to track performance and reduce risk. The companies inspected 104 generators to scope required spares, with Mantrac’s Power Systems team also securing two new C15 units. The contract was signed with Pickalbatros chairman Kamel Abou Ali, signalling continued investment in dependable power infrastructure for Egypt’s tourism sector.
