Morocco's ONMT Tenders for Redesigned Pavilion Across Seven Major Tourism Trade Fairs

Morocco's National Tourist Office (ONMT) has launched a call for tenders to design, build, operate and manage a new-generation Morocco Pavilion to be deployed across seven leading international tourism trade fairs from 2027. The pavilion will appear at FITUR in Madrid, ITB Berlin, Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, ITB China in Shanghai, IFTM Top Resa in Paris, World Travel Market in London and IBTM World in Barcelona. ONMT describes the initiative as a business development platform, with the pavilion structured around three zones - a Main Zone hosting Moroccan tourism operators, Regional Tourism Councils and Royal Air Maroc; a Territorial Immersion Zone offering interactive, scenography-driven experiences of Morocco's regions; and a Premium Partners Zone for hotel groups, destination management companies and other trade partners.

The redesigned pavilion will also open participation to a broader range of tourism stakeholders, including restaurateurs, transport providers, excursion operators and cultural experience creators, with the aim of presenting a more complete picture of Morocco's tourism offering to international buyers. Live culinary demonstrations, artisan workshops, artistic performances and digitally enhanced immersive experiences will feature across events. ONMT said the pavilion's design will be adapted to the expectations of each specific market while maintaining a unified national tourism identity. The office noted that the seven selected trade fairs play a strategic role in shaping global tourism demand, influencing airline connectivity and tour operator programming - positioning the pavilion as a key driver of Morocco's competitiveness as an international destination.
