James Haigh appointed a director of the ATTA® and Experience Africa Events Boards

James Haigh, Head of Sales and Marketing for Lemala Camps & Lodges has been appointed a director of the boards of both ATTA® and our wholly owned events subsidiary Experience Africa Events.

With 25 years experience in the safari business James has developed strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders throughout the supply chain and his eye for detail will prove valuable to the HQ teams to help spot potential issues quickly allowing him to provide solutions and create strategies to ensure smooth operations and successful outcomes.

On being appointed James comments:

“I remember first meeting Nigel Vere Nicoll on the ATTA® stand at ITB. It, and he, made a lasting impression as you can imagine.

Looking around and traipsing through the long halls of the Messe that day it was abundantly clear how fundamental personal relationships are in tourism. Spending time talking to Nigel and the other ATTA® members it was clear to me that these genuine and long lasting relationships are core to everything that safari tourism represents and define the essence of ATTA® as a membership organisation.

I am confident that with the help of the ATTA® board, our members and the many industry partners who have been so very supportive of us over the years, we will continue to build ATTA® and contribute to the success of the African safari industry.”
