GVI launches additional funding via its GVI Foundation Grants

Helping those who are passionate about making a difference learn about the local context of world issues helps us achieve our mission of building a global network of change-makers.

We wanted to address this challenge in partnership with GVI Foundation Grants.

The GVI Foundation Grant contributes towards the program fees of eligible participants based on their motivation and circumstances, with a goal to assist passionate changemakers and to allocate up to £2 million worth of grants each year via our tourism trade partners.

The grant also ensures that our volunteering and internship programs always have enough participants to deliver our project work globally, while meeting our impact goals and that of our NGO partners around the world.

Corne Schalkwyk head of partnerships at GVI explains that GVI agents can now assist their client with their chosen volunteering or internship program, by providing the details to be completed on the application form.

On the application form, your client will be asked to supply some information about their grant requirements. Once submitted to your partnership team at GVI, the head of partnerships will evaluate the request, and the partnership team will contact you to discuss the client's application and eligibility for a grant.
