Summary:
The role of the Membership, Events and Marketing Executive will help both organisations grow its membership and support its event delivery through a range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Management
- Support member engagement by maintaining accurate member records in the CRM system on ReadyMembership.
- Act as a key point of contact for member queries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Assist in onboarding new members, ensuring they are familiar with their profiles, benefits and resources.
- Work with Membership Manager and CEO for Memberships to develop and implement initiatives to increase member satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for member-focused campaigns and events.
- Product development in particular digital development of ATTA®’s hub resources.
- Training support on membership benefits e.g. the ATTA® job board to help members advertise vacancies.
Digital
- Maintain and update the ATTA® website using Content Management Systems (CMS) on ReadyMembership so it is performing at its commercial optimum and manage content and changes on the website
- Oversee and support on digital communications, social media and email newsletters.
- Work with ATTA® members to pull-through and update their online content
- Prepare and send Daily News and bespoke member newsletters (memos) to members and stakeholders, using email marketing platforms on ReadyMembership.
Webinars
- Plan, organise, and host webinars as part of the association’s member benefit strategy.
- Develop and implement promotional plans to drive webinar attendance.
- Coordinate with speakers and panellists, ensuring smooth delivery and high-quality content.
- Manage webinar logistics, including platform setup, live technical support, and post-webinar recordings.
- Analyse attendee feedback and performance metrics to refine future webinars.
Communications and Marketing
- Monitor the organisation general email address and redirect and/or response as required
- Support buyer outreach programmes (our key markets are UK, Africa, China, India, US/CA, Latin America, Europe, SE Asia, Australia)
- Work on our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to align with membership and ensure correct targeting.
- Support ATTA®’s Responsible Tourism communications on ATTA® For Action and sustainability charter.
- Support media, public relations and related projects together with the CEO for Memberships.
Events
- Events and exhibitions support and administration including contracting members, registrations, badges, desk branding, table allocations, booking accommodation for participants where applicable, sharing important information and deadlines, etc. and events admin monitoring ticket sale, badges, guest list, door supervisor and post event management and feedback.
- Support the running of events and outreach with members, processing event registrations for both internal and external / 3rd party events & handling general event enquiries.
- Create and updating content / registration process relating to events on the digital platforms

Ad hoc
- Assist where required with member invoicing.
Qualifications:
Ideally educated to Degree/Diploma level or a qualification in Marketing, Tourism or Events
Skills/Aptitude:
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Drive and determination with strong customer service ethic to work with members and guests.
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work with members and commercial partners externally and internally.
- Excellent communicate skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work efficiently as an individual or as part of a team.
- Ability to be flexible and responsive to demand.
- Ability to develop productive, positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders and the ability to work in partnership with other organisations where necessary.
- Takes personal responsibility for making things happen and have a positive can-do attitude.
Other:
- Must be prepared to travel occasionally to Events/meetings in the UK, Africa & across the world
- An interest in travel, responsible tourism and Africa would be a key advantage
Location: ATTA®’s London Offices (nearest tube Parson’s Green, rail Putney) three days. Remote working two days
