El Karama Lodge is an intimate, owner-operated, award-winning eight cottage lodge and safari adventure experience located on a private wildlife conservancy in the foothills of Mount Kenya.

Built by one of Africa's most gifted contemporary wildlife sculptors Murray Grant and his wife Sophie, El Karama Lodge is unique, authentic and focussed on immersive safari experiences. El Karama Lodge has been steadily refining its unique Re- Wilding and safari adventure programmes for groups and families this year in Laikipia Kenya.   Thanks to a new creative collaboration with the team at Finnegan Flint www.finneganflint.com, who also shot the amazing short film on East Africa’s first Dhow made from recycled Plastic, El Karama Lodge’s story is now ready to share with all of you.

Wildlife Education at El Karama Lodge, Laikipia: Tracks and Signs Course May 24/25/26 2019 with Professional Guide Andreas Fox

El Karama Lodge, Laikipia's family-focussed eco lodge is hosting their 2019 Tracks and Signs Short Course on May 24th to 26th 2019.  The lodge has been offering a unique events and short course calendar for the past 3 years including enigmatic speakers such as Adventurer Charley Boorman, Environmental Activist and Author George Monbiot, Explorer Col John Blashford-Snell and Paleoanthropologist Don Johanson.  Short Courses have included Tracking, Walking with Dangrous Game, Botany, Entomology, Geology, Open Air Cooking and Astronomy.
