The website for applications for the new mandatory Zanzibar Travel Insurance is now live (1st Sept 2024) although the requirement does not come into play until 1st October 2024. Please follow this link : https://visitzanzibar.go.tz

In an attempt to help, more details on this matter are available via www.tanzaniatourism.uk/zanzibar-insurance, published by Tim Henshall at the UK High Commission. 

His understanding is that policies will not be available upon arrival and must be sourced prior to travel.

Tim Henshall is willing to help as much as possible, but as the policy has been implemented by Zanzibar's Ministry of Finance information may still be limited.
