Wolwedans relaunches Plains Camp

Wolwedans Collection’s most exclusive desert villa reopened 1 March 2023. The villa sleeps 8 adults in 4 en-suite rooms (2 master rooms and 2 standard rooms each with a Wolwedans chiller) and 2 children in a separate ‘Sala’ with a private bathroom. The main living area further boasts a central swimming pool, lounge, inner courtyard, dining room and kitchen. Guests staying at Plains Camp can also enjoy the convenience and flexibility that a private guide and game drive vehicle, house manager, and chef affords. Activities at Plains Camp include morning and evening scenic drives, desert sundowners, e-biking, the Wolwedans water walk, a naked eye safari tour, and a bushman walk. 

Wolwedans’ collections of camps and lodges are situated in the NamibRand Nature Reserve, a non-profit private nature reserve in southern Namibia, and seek to provide a holistic nature experience where guests can disconnect from the everyday stresses of life and reconnect to their immediate surroundings in the reserve. In addition to Plains Camp, there are 2 camps, a lodge, and a mountain suite, each carefully sited in the landscape with a distinctive backdrop of desert-scenery.
