Uganda targets BENELUX market with Brussels and Utrecht roadshows
Uganda has concluded a series of tourism roadshows in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg to deepen trade partnerships and grow European arrivals. Led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through Uganda’s Mission to the European Union and organised with the Uganda Tourism Board, the engagements in Brussels and Utrecht positioned Uganda as a competitive, sustainable destination in line with the country’s Economic and Commercial Diplomacy agenda.
The delegation – including private tour operators and the Uganda Wildlife Authority – held business‑to‑business meetings to strengthen distribution, develop new partnerships and unlock travel pipelines into East Africa. The programme focused on promoting Uganda’s wildlife and nature‑based experiences while encouraging sustainable travel, with the aim of converting market interest into increased visitation and longer‑term trade collaboration.
