Twenty-eight schools near Lewa receive modern, digital classrooms
Lewa Wildlife Conservancy and donor partners have delivered modern classrooms equipped with digital tools to 28 schools serving communities around the conservancy in Kenya. The upgrades aim to create a more conducive learning environment for pupils and reflect ongoing collaboration between the conservancy and neighbouring communities.
Lewa said the initiative is enabled by wildlife and environmental conservation partnerships with local stakeholders, with improved facilities and digital access intended to strengthen education outcomes. For tourism, stronger community–conservancy relations and investment in local infrastructure help sustain conservation landscapes that underpin nature‑based tourism.
