TOP25 Restaurants launches Kenya guide
TOP25 Restaurants International has launched TOP25 Restaurants Kenya and appointed Caroline Mwangi as Head of TOP25 Restaurants Kenya. Announced in Nairobi on 5 January 2026, the first Kenya rankings are set for release later in 2026 at a TOP25 Restaurants Kenya Awards ceremony, marking the brand’s expansion into Africa and aiming to strengthen Kenya’s gastronomy credentials within its wider tourism offer.
The guide applies a proprietary framework that blends AI-driven analysis with expert input, assessing food quality, service, ambience, reputation and consistency, aggregated into a Restaurant Rating Index. TOP25 Restaurants said Kenya’s dining market is increasingly competitive and internationally relevant, with the project expected to spotlight local entrepreneurship, encourage local sourcing and broaden visitor appeal beyond wildlife. The platform already publishes guides in destinations including Phuket, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao, Shanghai, Delhi and Dubai.
