As part of its 10th edition celebrations, We Are Africa is set to amplify the marketplace by adding one extra day to its exclusive event in Cape Town, offering select local buyers access to its iconic and coveted show floor.

This year, We Are Africa is proud to introduce We Are Africa Local – a not to be missed chance for Southern African-based high-end trade professionals to connect with Africa’s top suppliers for one day, all under one roof!

A New Platform for Local Engagement

Taking place on Friday 9 May 2025 at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town, We Are Africa Local offers a rare opportunity for local professionals to connect with the continent’s leading travel brands and a line-up of prestigious contemporaries from the We Are Africa 2025 Guest List.

The African continent is proudly showcased at this year’s event, with an impressive array of destinations on display. Southern Africa dominates the floor with 54% of the supplier presence, followed by East Africa comprising 33%, while North Africa accounts for 4%. Central Africa adds 2% and lastly, the Indian Ocean Islands round out the exhibitor mix with 7%.
