Tanzanian tour operator Altezza Travel has announced plans to expand its adventure tourism offerings in 2025, focusing on sustainable safaris and Kilimanjaro climbs while emphasising safety and conservation.

The company, with over a decade of experience, operates one of the largest mountain equipment warehouses near Kilimanjaro and maintains a fleet of specially equipped Land Cruisers featuring modern amenities including Wi-Fi for safari tours.

Altezza's conservation efforts include significant involvement in the Serengeti De-Snaring Project, which has removed over 48,000 animal traps since 2018. The company has also donated more than $200,000 to protect endangered wildlife and supports local environmental initiatives in Machame Village.

The operator specialises in seven-day Kilimanjaro climbs suitable for various skill levels and offers customised safaris to iconic destinations including the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park, where visitors can observe the "Big Five" animals in their natural habitat.

Altezza aims to capitalise on Tanzania's diverse attractions, from wildlife safaris to Zanzibar beach holidays, as the country positions itself as a leading African destination.
