Southern Africa launches TRILAND Project to boost regional tourism
Mozambique, Eswatini, and South Africa’s Mpumalanga province have united for the TRILAND 2024-2025 project, an ambitious initiative designed to promote regional tourism through a cross-border tourism corridor. Led by Mozambique’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the National Tourism Institute (INATUR), TRILAND highlights the natural, cultural, and historical riches of each partner, positioning Southern Africa as a vibrant and diverse destination.
The project launches with an inaugural tour in Eswatini, setting the stage for future excursions in Mozambique this December and South Africa in early 2025. This collaborative effort reinforces regional tourism partnerships, inviting international travellers to experience Southern Africa’s unique heritage while supporting sustainable development and shared economic growth.
