Solo Travel

While the idea of a solo vacation in Africa may seem a little daunting at first, the good news is that it’s a great option if you have wanderlust but no travelling companion.

Solo travel is becoming more common, which means that holiday destinations are much more geared to welcoming people travelling on their own. That means that single supplements are less likely to be charged (reducing the overall cost) and that there are many more resources available to help you plan your trip.

The most important first step is to get expert advice, and we have a great deal of experience in creating dream itineraries for solo travellers.

Africa is much more connected than it was just a few years ago, which means that you can stay in touch with family or friends during your solo vacation. Naturally, that includes those all-important social media posts so that they can see what they’re missing. They won’t need to worry about you, but they might start feeling very jealous!

If you travel to Africa with Journey Beyond, you certainly won’t be going it alone.
