Roving Bushtops is moving to the Southern Serengeti for the wildebeest birthing season

Ready to rove!

The beauty of Roving Bushtops is our ability to move camp, to follow the herds.

So on 5 January 2019 we will move (temporarily) to Kusini and the short grasses of the Southern Serengeti, to gain the best possible vantage point from which to watch the wildebeest birthing season.

Having opened for business in Kusini on 26 January, we will spend just under 3 months in our temporary home, a wonderful spot by tall trees, next to a seasonal river. Then we will head back to our Central Serengeti base in the Seronera valley, at the end of April.

This roving plan ensures that our guests will gain maximum exposure to the migration, enjoying exceptional game viewing year round, bar 5th to 26th January and May when we close for refurbishment and training.

This flexibility is made possible by the transportable nature of the Roving Bushtops’ luxury tents. We conceived, designed and built these ergonomic masterpieces, which fold out like magic from vast, bespoke travel containers. So our move south comes with no compromises – just improved game viewing in yet another superb location.

It’s a change of scene, but with no change to our winning formula: Wild Luxury, the Bushtops way.
