The remote 'Galapagos of the Atlantic’ supports a unique biological diversity, with around 500 endemic species of flora and fauna. While St. Helena doesn't have any native land mammals, it's a haven for the endangered St. Helena plover or ‘wirebird’. The island's waters host incredible coral ecosystems, home to marine wildlife found nowhere else in the world.
