Kenya is a country of unique diversity. Probably the most beautiful section of the Great Rift Valley is in Kenya’s Rift Valley province with some of the world’s deepest lakes and surrounded by Africa’s highest mountains, with Mount Kenya being the second tallest mountain in Africa. The Lake Nukuru National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ecotourism plays a central role in East Africa’s strongest economy. The Big Five is always a main attraction but lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo are not the only attraction. Thanks to a strong national park system and the country’s commitment to conservation, visitors can experience viewings of baboon, zebra, giraffe and flamingo, among others.
