Poland to Boost Cooperation in Tourism, Investments

DAR ES SALAAM: PRESIDENT of Poland Andrzej Duda has expressed his country’s readiness to enhance cooperation with Tanzania, particularly in the development of tourism sector and increase Polish investments in the country.

President Duda expressed commitment in his remarks at the State House in Dar es Salaam on Friday shortly after holding bilateral talks with President Samia Suluhu Hassan, which were followed by a joint press conference.

“I am pleased to announce that Poland is eager to bolster cooperation with Tanzania in various sectors, including tourism and investment,” President Duda stated.

He added: “A significant group of Polish entrepreneurs has shown keen interest in collaborating on modern industry ventures, such as urban infrastructure, water resources management, digital banking systems, as well as information and telecommunications technologies.” Mr Duda, along with his spouse Agata Kornhauser Duda, accompanied by a delegation, embarked on a tour of three African countries—Tanzania, Kenya, and Rwanda—from February 5 to February 9.
