Nomad guides...you really shouldn't go on safari without one.
Nomad guides have a reputation for being some of the best in Tanzania, and we put a lot of emphasis on their training every year. Our annual training course has just finished and this year we paid special attention to conservation with many of our Nomad Trust partners giving talks about their invaluable work around Tanzania. Especially important was that the team embraced our mission to limit single-use plastic across Nomad camps so we ran a screening and discussion on the documentary Plastic Ocean - something we think everyone should watch.
We were also very fortunate to have had some of the best trainers on the ground with our team. Clint Schipper on birds, Anne Powys on botany and Zarek Cockar on insects. Our team thoroughly enjoyed learning so much from them and are excited to put it to use in the field.
Now we just can't wait for the season to get started...
