New Member - Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust

VFWT offer the opportunity to tourism agents for their guests to come out to our facilities in Victoria Falls National Park, a mere 15minutes from the city centre, for a one hour guided tour. Guests will engage with our team in a discussion and see visuals on some of our efforts with local communities to improve livelihoods, alleviate human wildlife conflict, and improve conservation education. Visitors are able to then walk through our high care wildlfie rehabilitation centre, and then get to have a hands on look at our wildlife research tools, and learn more about why research is conducted on species such as elephant, lion and vultures. The guests then proceed and get to walk through our wildlife disease and forensics laboratory before meeting Judge, a critically endangered white back vulture ambassador. All tours can be prearranged and are offered on site twice a day M-F and once a day on Saturdays. For tourism partners that have guests that want a more in-depth and hands on experience, we do have other opportunities to visit our projects with the local communities, or to help in the field depending on seasonality and experience with our internships programme.
