Kuzuko, a 5-star safari lodge and private game reserve in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, recently announced a new sales and marketing partnership with Unlimited Destinations in South Africa and 3Sixty Luxury Marketing in the UK and Europe.

“This is a very exciting new chapter for us at Kuzuko and we couldn’t be happier with the two companies we will be working with,” said Jim Tan, CEO of Kuzuko. “Both companies share our social, sustainability and conservation values which is incredibly important to us, but they also know what it takes to deliver a top-quality luxury nature experience for our guests.”

Under the new partnership, Unlimited Destinations will represent the sales and marketing interests of Kuzuko in South Africa, whilst 3Sixty Luxury Marketing will represent the sales and marketing interests of Kuzuko in the UK and Europe

“Unlimited Destinations is privileged to serve as the South Africa ambassador for Kuzuko, wholeheartedly embracing and championing their visionary initiatives,” said Carla Antoniazzi, founder of Unlimited Destinations. “Our enthusiasm stems from the profound commitment of Kuzuko to responsible tourism, sustainability, and impactful social endeavours. Through our representation, we aspire to illuminate not only the remarkable offerings of Kuzuko but also the profound impact it makes in promoting responsible tourism, sustainability, and social well-being.”

Kuzuko, which was officially opened in 2008 by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, is the only lodge on the 35,000-acre reserve. The lodge itself is built high upon a hill looking out across the Karoo landscape and is surrounded by 24 separate thatched roof chalets.

“We are thrilled to be working with Kuzuko in the Eastern Cape as the lodge complements our existing portfolio and emphasises our strategy to partner with products that have strong social, sustainability and conservation values," said Ian Anderson, founder of 3Sixty Luxury Marketing. “The vision for Kuzuko is incredibly exciting and will offer visitors from all regions truly amazing experiences. The team at Kuzuko have been brilliant and we look forward to working with them to grow their share of business from the UK & Europe.”

The reserve is owned by Inqo Investments Ltd, a South African based social impact investment company, who bought the land between 2001 and 2003, consolidating and re-wilding 22 farms to create a single 35,000-acre conservation area. In 2005, elephants were returned to the land after an absence of more than 150 years and in total 23 different species have been reintroduced to the reserve.

Kuzuko borders the Darlington Section of Addo Elephant National Park and is one of the first private reserves to take part of a much larger vision with the goal to one day remove fences to create a single vast conservation area. It is also unique among private reserves in that it was started as an intentional social enterprise with one of Kuzuko’s main aims being to create jobs and empower local communities in an area of high unemployment.

“The Kuzuko Game Reserve is one of our key investments. As a social impact fund, we are investing in enterprises that have clear environmental and social impact which Kuzuko has and will continue to deliver,” said Kim Tan, Chairman of Inqo Investments Ltd. “We are delighted that Kuzuko is partnering with Unlimited Destinations and 3Sixty Luxury Marketing to bring guests to see the on-going conservation and experience the amazing wilderness of the reserve.”
