A passion for Africa and each family member’s unique set of skills have wrought Sungani Lodge and Kulandila Camp. It is a joy to tell you that the majority of what you will find at both properties has been created and hand built by the family and local people, transforming this remote area of the South Luangwa National Park from a state of neglect into something quite extraordinary. The inclusive transfer to the properties is a short 20/25-minute flight from Mfuwe International Airport in the Sungani aircraft.
 
As the Luangwa flows further south through the National Park past Mfuwe and down to the southern reaches of the park you will find the Lusangazi sector. Here you will find yourself in the remote and exclusive paradise that is Sungani Lodge and Kulandila Camp. The properties are about 70km’s from Mfuwe town.

Both properties showcase the families love for raw materials, sleek yet classic lines and longevity. Carefully curated interiors expose natural textures and unique items that make both properties feel sophisticated, luxury, yet homely. Although a different offering at each, you will see the Sungani brand and quality throughout.
