Green Safaris appoints Small World Marketing for UK & European Representation
Green Safaris has appointed specialist agency, Small World Marketing, as its Sales, Marketing and PR representative for the UK and Europe, commencing November 1st.
Green Safaris comprises an esteemed collection of 7 properties: Tongabezi Lodge (Victoria Falls); Sindabezi Island Camp (Victoria Falls); Chisu Busanaga Camp (Busanga Plains); Ila Safari Lodge (Kafue); Shawa Luangwa Camp (South Luangwa); Kaya Mawa (Lake Malawi). This impressive portfolio allows for a complete ‘Green Safari’ circuit of Zambia’s great wildernesses as well as Green Safaris also owns and runs the beautiful Kaya Mawa on Lake Malawi, which - with its incredible lakeside location - forms a wonderful complement to a safari experience.
Sustainability is unequivocally at the heart of the brand and core to the collection, they are pioneers of the ‘silent safari’ – (with environmentally powered vehicles extending beyond e-Cruisers (electric game vehicles) to e-Boats and e-Mountain Bikes) - along with a Foundation which gives 2.5% of invested capital annually into Community Development in the local neighbourhoods.
Of the appointment Vincent commented:
“I feel privileged to be in this business of tourism in Africa, which I entered to contribute to the way in which tourism can help drive conservation and support community development. At Green Safaris we are only at the start of where we want to take this. And as we continue to make bold steps ensuring that Green Safaris is a leader in the ethical, luxury safari, we are delighted to be working with Small World Marketing who are so well-equipped to help shape this process and tell our story.”
Anita Powell, owner of Small World Marketing, commented:
“We’re thrilled to be working with Green Safaris, which is not only a fabulous collection of properties but, as importantly, has such an ambitious and inspiring raison d’être. Theirs is exactly the sort of journey we love contributing towards. Green Safaris offers something exciting and different, and we can’t wait to spread the word to our colleagues in the trade and media."
