Grand Hotel Djibloho Hosts the First Graduation of the Afro-American University of Central Africa (AAUCA)

The Afro-American University of Central Africa (AAUCA) held its first graduation ceremony at the Grand Hotel Djibloho. The occasion also featured the conferral of an honorary doctorate upon the President of the Republic, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, in recognition of his exceptional contribution to the university’s growth and development. This historic milestone establishes AAUCA as a leading center of higher education in the region.
Held on Friday, October 10, 2025, the ceremony formed part of the national celebrations marking the 57th Anniversary of Equatorial Guinea’s Independence.
A total of 69 graduates proudly marked the culmination of their academic journey a reflection of their dedication, perseverance, and pursuit of excellence.
The gathering was hosted in the Grand Hotel Djibloho’s state-of-the-art auditorium, a sophisticated and adaptable space ideal for prestigious events. Following the formal proceedings, attendees enjoyed an exclusive banquet in the hotel’s elegant setting, closing the celebration in an atmosphere of refinement and distinction.
