According to Virtuoso’s Luxe Report for 2019, social media and conservation are two key trends for this year. Travellers are looking for the most ‘Instagram worthy’ destinations and are requesting on-site photography workshops to create this content, including replicating shots they admired online. Additionally, once-in-a-lifetime wildlife holiday experiences are highly sought after. Travellers want to observe animals in the wild but are also more concerned about animal welfare and want to ensure that interactions are sustainable.

Keeping in line with both trends, conservation-led experiential travel company, andBeyond, has just announced that award-winning wildlife photographer, Nick Dale, will be based at andBeyond Klein’s Camp during March and April and andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp in May, as andBeyond’s resident photographer. During his residency guests will have complimentary access to Nick, who will join game drives, offer his top tips and run editing workshops. With an inquisitive eye for detail, Nick’s impressive portfolio spans 25 countries and 7 continents, and has sold 8,500 images globally.

Nick will be available to all camp guests and will join game drives, enabling photography enthusiasts to learn more about their camera, revealing hints and ideal settings and techniques, as well as offering advice on how to best capture the spectacular surrounding wildlife scenes. Nick will also host post-editing workshops at the lodge as well as offer talks on his personal work.
