Accor to debut Mövenpick and Mövenpick Living in Abuja
Accor has signed a strategic agreement with John Williams Hotels & Resorts and Boulevard Hotel Group to open a dual‑branded Mövenpick hotel and Mövenpick Living serviced apartments in Abuja’s Central Business District in Q1 2026. The development will comprise 138 hotel rooms and 36 serviced apartments, targeting multinationals, expatriates and business travellers, and introduces the Mövenpick Living concept to Nigeria amid rising demand for premium extended‑stay accommodation.
Facilities will include four dining venues, a 665 square metre ballroom, flexible meeting and conference spaces, a spa, fitness centre and outdoor pool. With direct access to the Three Arms Zone and around 30 minutes from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, the property is positioned for business, MICE and diplomatic demand. Accor currently operates four hotels in Nigeria across ibis, Novotel and Mövenpick, and has more than 167 properties in Africa – part of a broader expansion in gateway and emerging markets.
