Detour Africa Expeditions is a Botswana-based inbound booking destination management company located in Kasane, the gateway to Chobe National Park. Our location is known for the herds of elephants and proximity to Africa’s Four Corners, where four countries meet: Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Namibia. We are also owners of Chobe Mopani Forest Lodge, a recently established Safari bush Lodge that stands out in Botswana. It's situated in the Chobe, Kasane Forest, in the northern part of the country, which is one of the best game viewing areas where wild animals roam freely. The lodge is located between the Kazuma pans, Hwange National Park, Zambezi National Park, and Chobe National Park.

This remarkable eco-lodge provides a private escape in the heart of the African bush, where a dedicated team greets guests to immerse themselves in the wilderness. The lodge features 20 ensuite standard rooms, two stand-alone Meru chalets (all facing our private waterhole), and nine campsites, each with an elevated platform with private ablutions.
