Kwaheri (Goodbye) Cara!

After 7 years as a trusted and highly valued member of the Classic Portfolio team, we very sadly bid farewell to Cara Carr (Prettejohn).  Cara will be leaving us in March to begin a new chapter with her husband Henry, as they plan to move back home to Kenya.

Cara joined our team to work alongside Katie D-H in the London office in 2014. When Katie left she took over our UK & European Representation role with purpose, energy and passion.  I have the highest respect and regard for Cara in all that she has learned, how she has developed and how dignified and fairly she has managed many complex situations.

We are delighted to introduce you to Lauren Gerber, who recently joined our team in Cape Town. Lauren has a wealth of experience in the industry having previously worked with Wilderness Safaris and Livingstone Safaris. She will be the key contact for our UK & European Trade Partners. WHY CAPE TOWN? As we anticipate another year of digital meetings in 2021, we have opted to have the new UK and European sales base closer to the engine of Classics in terms of our team and members. This way Lauren is at the pulse of our Portfolio and able to share on the ground knowledge with you, our trade partners. 

As our travel industry recovers so we will review the location of our UK & European representation role.
