AWF chooses Kamageo to assess Simien Mountains NP
By Umbraco.Web.PublishedCache.MemberPublishedContentKamageo has been hired by African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) to provide a major development plan for the Simien Mountains National Park in Ethiopia.
Following a comprehensive on-site study, Kamageo will then provide an assessment of the entire tourism infrastructure, including accommodation, activities, park facilities, amenities, access and communications. The Park has become increasingly popular with international tourists, due to its rare and/or endemic flora and fauna (including Gelada Baboons, Ibex, Ethiopian Wolves and Lammergeier vultures) stunning mountain scenery and some fabulous walking and hiking trails.
Tim Henshall, Chief Executive at Kamageo added, “It’s a real privilege and honour to be working with AWF, especially in a park that has delivered so many outstanding experiences to me personally". Kamageo's report will be published later this year.
