My name is Joe Cababie. I am an Airline Sales, Marketing and Account Manager with over 15 years’ experience in the UK & International markets. I am now representing Ethiopian Airlines and promoting our leisure routes within the Tour Operator markets. Most recently I have been involved with Gulf Air for 5 years and previously been involved in promoting Air Malta. I have been helping airlines in the planning, elaboration and execution of tourism promotions, promotional projects in trade shows, events, marketing campaigns and nurtured relationships with the travel media, tourism boards, representatives, public and private entities adhering to Marketing Plans.

Karen Confait

Director Marketing, Tourism Seychelles

Karen has 13 years’ experience as Marketing Director for Tourism Seychelles, working across a variety of markets including Benelux, Russia & CIS, Eastern Europe, Nordics and since 2020 the UK & Ireland markets. She started in the tourism industry with the Seychelles Tourism Board in 2004 in the Digital Marketing department, where she was responsible for the official destination website and all e-marketing tools for the promotion of the islands. 

Born and bred in Seychelles, her passion and love for the destination is deep rooted and has spent the last 19 years promoting the importance of responsible, sustainable travel to the archipelago of islands. She is now based in London after spending a year and a half in Seychelles in 2021.
