Zambia Tourism Agency Partners with Concert Organisers to Drive 50,000 Visitors Through Davido Shows
The Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) has partnered with event organisers Amigo Events and Side Ways ahead of two Davido concerts scheduled for 1 and 2 May 2026, with a projected combined attendance of 50,000. The first show will be held at Ciela Resort and will feature American artist Ricky Ross, Congo's Koffi Olomide, South Africa's Uncle Waffles and France-based Ya Levi's, while the second takes place at the Showgrounds. Both events will also include local artist performances, adding a cultural dimension to the programme.
The partnership reflects a broader strategy by the ZTA to leverage music and entertainment as drivers of destination visibility and tourism growth, targeting both international visitors and the domestic travel market. The collaboration was initiated following a meeting between the ZTA's marketing team and the concert organisers at ZTA offices, underscoring the agency's focus on private sector engagement to position Zambia as a destination for world-class experiences.
