Airlink is expanding its Southern African summer schedule between October and December 2026, adding new routes, increasing frequencies and deploying its new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft on additional services. From October, the airline is introducing its E195-E2 Business Class product on its twice-weekly Johannesburg - Zanzibar service, which will increase to three flights per week in December, and upgrading its daily Johannesburg - Nairobi route to E195-E2 operation. November will see the launch of a new three-times-weekly service between Johannesburg Lanseria and Harare, offering travellers from Johannesburg's northern suburbs and surrounding areas a convenient alternative to O.R. Tambo International Airport.

From December, Airlink will introduce a new daily return service between Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International and George, while Nosy Be in Madagascar will receive an additional flight for the peak summer season. Cape Town services are also being bolstered, with three weekly flights to Harare and two additional weekend return services to George. The E195-E2 aircraft features a staggered seating layout in the premium cabin, offering a more spacious and private experience, with all Airlink flights operating in a no-middle-seat configuration across the fleet.
