Webinar Recording - Angola Tourism: What’s New and What’s on the Horizon

Our recent ATTA® webinar explored Angola’s evolving tourism landscape, looking at what is changing on the ground and what travel professionals need to know as interest in the destination continues to grow.

Hosted by Tim Henshall, Trade & Consumer Marketing Director UK at Kleber Group, the session highlighted Angola as an emerging and still adventurous tourism destination, alongside the progress being made to strengthen its tourism offering.

Tim was joined by Colin Bell of Natural Selection and Simone Micheletti of Luiana Plains to discuss new tourism and conservation developments in southern Angola, including the development of Cuatir Private Game Reserve and Luiana Plains.

The conversation also covered practical considerations for selling and travelling in Angola, including access and internal travel, the developing DMC and accommodation landscape, and the opportunities emerging as new tourism products come to market. The session also touched on conservation progress, including encouraging developments around Angola’s endemic giant sable.

Additional travel trade resources were shared directly with agents who registered for the webinar, including practical destination information, recommended Angolan DMCs, accommodation resources, an image and video library, updates on future familiarisation trips, and ongoing Angola tourism news and developments.
