UTB Statement: Uganda Remains Open for Tourism Following Isolated Imported Ebola Cases
The Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has confirmed that Uganda remains safe, open, and operational for tourism following two isolated imported Ebola cases involving travellers from the DRC. Authorities have confirmed there is currently zero local transmission or community infection within Uganda, with robust surveillance and response measures in place nationwide. Tourism activities, national parks, hotels, and transport services continue to operate normally.
